Perdon's plan

We’re a young band with a weird origin story. We formed in November 2019 and managed a handful of rehearsals before the pandemic put us all in lockdown.

We managed to find a way to get some basic home recording equipment. We learned some studio skills and wrote nine songs for a concept album.

We each had to record our own parts, alone, at home, in lockdown then send these parts to the next band member. By November 2020 we had a nine song concept album recorded and ready to be mixed; but we had hardly met up face to face. Some of us barely knew each other.

Early in 2021 we were able to meet up and rehearse regularly. Probably not normal to have nine original songs recorded and in the bag before you start rehearsing. One of those songs had been played on local radio but we had been together for eighteen months without doing a gig; all a bit strange but that’s our story.

Finally, in June 2021 we played our first gig at the Mad Hatters Festival near Ely. In July we played the YNAF Festival in Norwich and in August we hung out at the Harlequin Fayre and performed on the last day. Massive!

So here we are. We met up as near strangers and recorded an album in the weirdest way. We’ve had radio play several times, done three gigs at amazing festivals and our album BROADCAST is out soon.
